the top pitcher on Tigers "Atsushi Nohmi #14"

     the second player I introduce you is Atsushi Nohmi.  he is the top pitcher on Tigers.  he throws and bats left-handed.  he throws in the opening game in 2011 and 2012.

     this year, he was elected the member of national team for World Baseball Classic and contributed for the team being best4.

     we, the fans of  Tigers, hope that he is the top pitcher on Tigers next year.

The oldest player "Shinjiro Hiyama #24"

 

 

     the first player I introduce you is Shinjiro Hiyama.  he was the oldest player of the player of Tigers.  he is 44years old now!!

 

     however, unfortunately, this year is the last year he plays as a player on the active list.  he retired when the last game of this year on Oct 13th, against Hirishima Carp.  in this game, he have a turn at bat in the bottom of 9th inning with runner on first and 2outs.  this is the last turn at bat for him.

 

 

 

He hit a home run!!! 

 

    

Tigers lost the game, but he gave us a big impression!
